Title Group, joined his brave staff in accepting the ALS #IceBucketChallenge to pour ice cold water over themselves to raise money and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The firms then happily made a donation of $500 to the
ALS organization.

In turn, Jacobs challenged Jay Parker, CEO of Douglas Elliman, Ron Antevy, CEO of E-Builder and Super
Real Estate Agent Chad Carroll to take the #IceBucketChallenge. According to the rules, they have 24 hours to comply or make a donation of $100 each to ALS.
Joining the ranks of Steven Spielberg, Ron Wood, Jon Bon Jovi and even President
George W. Bush among many others, Jacobs joined the ALS #IceBucketChallenge that has swept the nation and gone viral on social media with ice cold drenching videos to #StrikeOutALS.
As of Monday, August 25, 2014, the ALS Association has
received $79.7 million in donations compared to $2.5 million during the same time period last year. These donations have come from existing donors and 1.7 million new donors to the association.
“The ALS #IceBucketChallenge is a testament
to the power of Social Media being used for good,” said Jacobs. “I consider it a privilege to have participated in raising funds as well as awareness and I intentionally challenged the three people I felt were in a particularly good position
to raise even more awareness among their peer groups.”

of his condo at the Marquis Residences in downtown Miami at 1100 Biscayne Boulevard #4502 and then closed on the purchase of his new condo one floor up at #4601.
Carroll paid $1.2 million for the 2,106-square-foot unit on the 46th floor,
according to Miami-Dade County records. He sold the two-bedroom, 1,557-square-foot unit on the 45th for $920,000.
